Book Review:- Eat That Frog!

Ways to stop procrastinating(delaying) and get the things done in less time

Written by: - Brian Tracy

Author has explained different ways in this book to get all the personal and professional things done in less time without delay.

        1.  Write down the daily personal and professional tasks in the diary. This activity will give a clear idea.
        2.  After writing the tasks, plan those tasks daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. Plan all the tasks with the top priority wise.
        3.  Apply 80:20 pareto rule. It states that 20% of the activities give 80% of the results. It tells that focus on those important top 2-3 tasks, you will get the maximum (80%) result.
        4.  Review your daily work and activities regularly with the results.
        5.  Do the work which is much irritating/ worst/to you. Do the worst task first.
        6.  Plan your task with the specified numbers with the priorities. List the personal tasks with A series, professional tasks with B, Health C, and others with D and E.
        7.  Determine your key skill areas and rate them.
        8.  Find out the especially important tasks that are related to your work completion. These tasks might be 2-3 which account 90% of your work. Rest other tasks are supportive. In the logistic industry, the major tasks involved are packaging, transport, and delivery.
        9.  Prepare yourself thoroughly before beginning the tasks. Keep your workplace clean and neat.
10.  Do only one work and task at a time. Our mind is not made for multi-tasking. It is a myth.
11.  Keep upgrading your key- skills.
12.  Increase your key-skills set.
13.  Focus is more important.
14.  Keep on pushing yourself.
15.  Increase your skills and master in one of them.
16.  Keep on motivating yourself with good thoughts, good music, and good family life.
17.  Turn off all the technological communication modes for a while in a day and relax…relay. And relax…from the external pressures.
18.  Create new habits. New habits can be developed within 3 weeks with consistency.
19.  Do not waste any time. Rather invest it.
20.  Do not wait. Time never waits and it never comes once it is gone.
