My profile

Kaushik Shrotri is a writer, storyteller, and creative thinker who blends the precision of an engineer with the sensitivity of an artist.

A Mechanical Engineer by qualification, Kaushik began his professional life designing machines — but soon discovered that the real art lies in understanding how human emotions are engineered. His technical discipline and creative curiosity now coexist beautifully in his writing — logical in flow, yet lyrical in thought.

Author of several acclaimed Marathi books and one English title, Kaushik’s works traverse themes of self-discovery, philosophy, mystery, and relationships — each story carrying a mix of realism and reflection.

🎶 Music & Film

  • Love Forever — Original Song (Lyrics & Concept)

  • Odh — Short Film (Story & Concept)

Each project reflects Kaushik’s core belief — that creativity is not limited by form or language; it simply seeks expression. Whether he writes a line of poetry, a short story, or a film script, the essence remains the same — to make people feel and think at once.

In 2024, he founded DEEPAI Magazine, an open creative platform where writers can express without restriction. The magazine celebrates honesty, depth, and unfiltered expression — qualities that define Kaushik’s own voice as a writer.

He also curates Roots & Returns, a storytelling and travel-based project that documents untold stories, cultural roots, and timeless connections across India.

Currently, Kaushik is developing a biopic on the iconic Meera Car from Ichalkaranji, inspired by Shankarrao Kulkarni’s dream of building India’s first indigenous car — a story that beautifully merges his engineering past and storytelling passion.

Known for his balanced, emotionally grounded tone, Kaushik’s work bridges two worlds — mechanical precision and poetic reflection. His stories remind readers that every invention, whether mechanical or emotional, begins with imagination.

Philosophy:

“Every story deserves light — some just need a braver matchstick.”
