Dhurandhar movie review

Dhurandhar is a relentless, high-voltage ride fueled by revenge and unfinished pasts. The story and screenplay move like live ammunition—sharp, loud, and unforgiving.

The narrative jumps boldly across major terror milestones: Kandahar hijack → 2001 Parliament attack → 26/11 → the Lihari region, ending with a confident “to be continued” that sets up Part 2 cleanly.

Performances & Characters

Ranveer Singh as Hamza – Absolute beast mode. Boom… boom… BOOM. Zero mercy, full throttle.

Akshaye Khanna as Rahman Dakait – Pure class. This isn’t a comeback, it’s a coronation.
And that dance scene? Unexpected, slightly unsettling, and strangely iconic. When Rahman Dakait dances, you don’t clap—you just blink and accept reality. King of Lihari indeed 👑

Arjun Rampal as Iliyasi – Small role, sharp impact. Leaves a mark.

Sanjay Dutt – Smokes throughout, naps in between, scares people just by looking at them. Energy-efficient terror 🤣

R. Madhavan – Limited screen time, solid punch. Clearly being preserved for Part 2.

Heroine – Forgettable. Feels like a producer’s budget combo offer 🤣

Direction

Aditya Dhar goes big on scale, aggression, and national stakes. The ambition is massive, and it’s clear this film is just the opening chapter.

Music

Songs are extremely poor—skip without guilt.

Moments

Some scenes—especially the dance bar, Pakistan mall, and now Akshaye Khanna dancing—make you laugh first and process later 🤣

Verdict

Don’t overthink it.
Just enjoy the fire, the rage, Sher-e-Baloch energy, and the promise of what’s coming next.

🔥 Dhurandhar — Revenge arrives on 19 March 2026
Till then… smoke, stare, dance awkwardly, and wait for Part 2.
