Vasantrutu

 Vasantrutu is about to start on 27th March 2024. It holds the biggest importance in Hinduism. 

1. It is a time when we see the process of detoxification, and rejuvenation change in nature.

2. It is a time when we are shifting from winter to summer. Also, when we don't experience too much of cold and too much of the heat during this period.

3. Time associated with Kafha Dosh. Hence, we face the runny nose and itchy eyes.

4. As per Hindu Mythology, this rutu is associated with Kama Deva, the god of love and passion.

5. Vasant rutu is king of seasons where nature is at its peak. 

6. King of fruits Mango is all set to arrive in the Vasant Rutu.

7. It is also remembered as a day when all the Rishis approached Kama Dev to awaken the Lord Shiva for his Yogic Meditation.

8. Transition from cold weather to hot weather may have an impact on the skin.

9. Do the regular Pranayam to help and clear excess mucus formation and improve O2.

10. Do the daily Abhyanga massage for the skin and nervous system.

11. Eat the lighter food.

12. Lord Sarasvati is worshipped during the Vasantrutu.

13. It is also said that Lord Shiva and Parvati were married in the Vasantrutu month.. Hence, in India. Feb-Mar is considered as the Marraige season.
