5secrule speaks about the courage and persistence required to finish our decided tasks. It tells that ideas keep on floating in our mind. The moment when we get an idea in our mind, our human brain takes 5 sec to execute it. After 5 sec, some other idea comes into our mind and we get distracted.

 

In other words, when you are sleeping on your bed and you want to get up early in the morning at 6.00 A.M. Alarm rings and you wake up in the bed. After that, many of us tend to be lazy to get up. In this case, you can use the 5-sec rule. The moment you get up early in the morning, you need to count 5-4-3-2-1 and you will see the magic of getting up from the bed.

 

Use the rule 5-4-3-2-1 i.e reverse counting in your mind, when you are stuck at any moment; you will see the magic in your thought process and your actions will be much faster.
